Digital Bonding: Role Play

In order to clear the university option credit, they are forced to take Basic Japanese. In this course, they only learned Hiragana, they don’t know what Katakana and Kanji all about. Their sensei is an expatriate Japanese living in Penang. She is charming and attractive. She likes to share her beautiful romance and her daily lives in class. That makes the class more interesting.

The listening tests are terrible. The speed of speaking is very fast just like the wind just pass through my ears. I need to listen carefully, figure out what the question is all about, interpret the question, translate the voice into Japanese words, and write down the answer quickly. It ain’t easy.

On 16th of March during BTN, we had wrote the script inside SK. Start from that day, we practiced our role play, not seriously though. There were four scenes in the role play. The first scene was talking about Chris came to my house. The second scene was in train station. The third scene was shopping for earrings in a department store and the last scene was occurred in school.

On 26th of March, the show was on. We played it smoothly and not much mistakes. Some group wanna borrowed actress and things from us, but, they are rejected because they gotta obey the rule of games.
